Requirements:
- Recognised Social Work qualification (AASW validation required if obtained overseas)
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in child and family social work with child protection focus
- Demonstrated skills in assessment, evidence-based interventions, and case management
- Knowledge of the Child Welfare Act 2009 (NI) and child protection procedures
- Ability to work effectively within a remote, socio-culturally unique community context
- Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills (Microsoft Office proficiency)
- Full current Australian driver’s licence and willingness to obtain Norfolk Island licence
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours, including participation in an on-call roster and occasional travel
