WHAT DOES THE ROLE CONSIST OF
- Manage a team of 8 Accountants and control your own book of clients from start to finish
- Building and maintaining client relationships
- Managing the preparation of Financial Accounts, Income Tax Returns, and Business Activity Statements for Individuals, Companies, Trusts, and Partnerships
- Drafting of tax advice to clients on particular transactions
- Mentoring and managing a group of junior accountants
- IT - issues, upgrades and improvements
- High amount of both internal and external stakeholder engagement
- Support other Managers and Directors to achieve their tasks. Can perform complex assignments for Directors
- Review of job budgets, monitoring of WIP and adherence to the firm’s workflow process. Approve fees with accurate and appropriate narratives demonstrating a commercial approach
- Strong technical tax (direct and indirect) knowledge in matters applicable to the SME market
