Job Summary
Do you have excellent mechanical skills and are looking for a company to grow with? This company wants to hire you full time! We’re seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Op Tech to join a growing manufacturing team in Elkhart, IN. In this role, you’ll operate thermoform machinery, inspect products, and support production operations in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Doing
As an Op Tech, your core responsibilities will include:
● Operating Thermoform Machines: Set up, operate, and troubleshoot thermoform equipment to produce quality parts according to specifications.
● Inspecting and Packing Products: Inspect finished parts for quality and pack materials while maintaining production standards.
● Machine Readiness and Maintenance: Inspect machinery, tooling, and equipment prior to set-up while performing routine maintenance and cleaning.

In addition, you will also be expected to train packaging technicians, identify nonconforming materials/products, and communicate production issues with shift leadership and other departments as needed.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
● High School diploma preferred.
● Excellent mechanical skills with demonstrated work history.
● Basic math, computer, and mechanical skills.
● Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
● Ability to pass a vision test including visual acuity, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
● Ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment.
