Technical Sales Advisor

Our client is a well established business who work with both the Public and Private sectors offering a range of products and services to clients including the local authorities, contractors and education institutions. They are looking for a Proactive Sales Advisor to join one of their specialist sales divisions. 

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Generating written quotations using in house CRM system to support the customers requirement to provide a competitive offer to win business. 
• Closing orders using written and verbal communication, selling from market leading products and services.
• Assisting customers with techinical knowledge of products to select the ideal product solutions to meet their needs. 

** This role does NOT include any cold calling. All leads are generated through marketing activity and repeat business **

The Ideal Candidate :

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail 
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and read through tender documents
• Strong organisation and time management skills ensuring tasks are managed effectively and deadlines are met
• Ability to negotiate sales and identify opportunities for growth
• IT Proficiency
