Our client in Pompano area is seeking a Warehouse Lead, keeping inventory accurate, shipments on time, and the team running smoothly.
About the role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Warehouse Lead drives the day-to-day flow of receiving, storage, and outbound shipping. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who takes pride in an organized, safe, and high-performing warehouse — and knows how to bring out the best in a team.
Shipping & receiving
Oversee packing, BOLs, commercial invoices, shipping labels, and inbound container receipts end-to-end.
Systems & software
Use scanning systems and shipping software to allocate materials, generate packing slips, and track shipments.
Inventory accuracy
Lead regular cycle counts and maintain real-time inventory integrity across the warehouse.
Safety & compliance
Uphold the highest standards for housekeeping, OSHA compliance, and equipment maintenance scheduling.
What you bring
  • 3+ years in a warehouse lead or supervisory role — you know how to run a floor.
  • OSHA Forklift Operator Certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong communicator — comfortable coordinating with carriers, vendors, and cross-functional teammates.
  • Physically capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling 50+ lbs and staying active throughout the shift.
  • Detail-oriented and adaptable — you stay organized when priorities shift and hold yourself to a high standard of attendance and reliability.
  • Comfortable with computers and warehouse management software; quick to pick up new tools.
Education
  1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
 
 
 
 
Responsibilities of position
 
Warehouse lead job description attached. We would like this person to start at the end of July. They would be required to train at the current Deerfield Beach warehouse for about 2 weeks. A hotel will be provided for workdays. I’m not sure of the salary. Can you assist with what you see for this position?
 
I will also need another warehouse person in Port St. Lucie to start about mid-July. Same criteria as the temp you recently provided. $18-19/hr for this position.
