This esteemed firm, renowned for its work in education, residential, and commercial sectors, is actively seeking a Senior Architect. This role presents a remarkable opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to a variety of ambitious projects across all RIBA stages.
Your Role:
As a Senior Architect, you will be at the forefront of shaping environments through innovative and sustainable designs. You will engage in a broad spectrum of projects, providing leadership and expertise from inception to completion. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise to realise the client’s vision whilst ensuring that solutions are delivered to a high standard on site. You will work alongside architects, consultants and contractors, and with excellent technical and construction knowledge you will carry out surveys, feasibility studies, risk assessments and due diligence of design and construction information together with preparing working drawing packages in Revit and attending face to face client meetings.
Key Qualifications:
- Professionally qualified and ARB registered, with RIBA Part III being a preferred qualification.
- 3-5 years of relevant post-qualification experience, including at least 2 years in the education sector, with direct client and contractor engagement.
- Proficiency in Revit and a strong understanding of BIM, coupled with general tech-savviness.
- Exceptional design skills and comprehensive knowledge of technical and construction information.
- Proven ability to apply technical judgment in compliance with design standards.
- Demonstrated success in project management, team leadership, and project execution.
- Legal acumen regarding contracts, regulations, and codes.
- Commercial awareness, with skills in promoting the practice and fostering business growth.
- Leadership qualities with outstanding collaboration and communication skills; adept at working autonomously.
- Strategic thinker, capable of handling multiple priorities, problem-solving, and meticulous in all work aspects.
