About the Position
This permanent, full-time role will commence in Term 3, or earlier if the successful candidate is available. The position involves teaching Science across multiple year levels within a supportive, flexible, and student-centred learning model. The successful teacher will be passionate about sparking curiosity and confidence in Science through engaging and differentiated lessons that meet diverse student needs.


Skills and Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Science lessons tailored to diverse learning needs

  • Uphold and promote the safeguarding and welfare of students in line with school policies

  • Build positive, respectful relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

  • Collaborate with staff and support services to enhance student outcomes

  • Contribute to the school’s restorative and wellbeing framework through classroom leadership


Requirements

  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain QLD Teacher Registration (QCT)

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
