Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM;
Reports To: Packaging Supervisor
Purpose: Responsible for assembling, inspecting, and supplying corrugated boxes to support safe, efficient packaging operations throughout the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble corrugated boxes according to production specifications
Inspect boxes for quality, proper labeling, and structural integrity
Supply finished boxes to packaging lines in a timely manner
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with GMP standards
Follow all safety, food safety, and quality policies
Report damaged materials, equipment issues, or safety concerns to supervision
Assist with other packaging or production tasks as assigned, including cleaning various work areas throughout the facility
Qualifications / Requirements:
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
Requires frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and twisting while standing for extended periods of time.
Basic math and counting skills
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Must comply with GMP requirements, including PPE, hygiene, and dress code standards
Preferred Skills:
Prior manufacturing or packaging experience
Familiarity with food or ingredient production environments
Working Conditions:
Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, odors, and temperature variations
Required use of PPE (safety shoes, hair/beard nets, hearing and eye protection, lab coats, bump caps, etc.)
Work is repetitive in nature and requires patience, consistency, and the ability to stay engaged in a routine-based role.
