Occupation Hygienist/Environmental Engineer

This position has been introduced due to increased client requirements around compliance and reporting, particularly focused on silica management and exposure monitoring. It’s an exciting opportunity to shape the role from the ground up and make a genuine impact across multiple projects.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for developing and implementing occupational hygiene programs, supporting compliance, and providing hands-on site assessments across a range of projects including construction, piling, demolition, and excavation.
Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting occupational hygiene assessments (silica, dust, noise, vibration, etc.).
• Developing monitoring and reporting systems for exposure and environmental compliance.
• Working closely with Project Managers and site teams to ensure WHS and environmental standards are met.
• Preparing reports, maintaining compliance records, and assisting with client audits and requirements.
• Roaming across project sites including the Central Coast, Wollongong, Rouse Hill, Western Sydney International Airport, and the Sydney CBD.

About You

• Background in Occupational Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Certification (or working toward certification) in Occupational Hygiene.
• Strong understanding of WHS compliance, air quality monitoring, and silica exposure management.
• Confident communicator with excellent reporting and organisational skills.
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
