About the Role

Working closely with a broad range of clients and industries, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality accounting, taxation, and advisory services while also supporting and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing financial statements and income tax returns
  • Preparing and lodging BAS and IAS
  • Managing client bookkeeping functions
  • Providing taxation guidance and strategic business advice
  • Assisting with financial forecasting, modelling, and budgeting
  • Supervising, mentoring, and developing junior accountants
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Providing general accounting and taxation support as required

About You

You are a motivated and approachable accounting professional who enjoys balancing technical expertise with client engagement.
Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience within a public practice accounting environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of:
    • Capital Gains Tax (CGT)
    • GST
    • Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT)
    • Corporations Law
  • Experience using a variety of accounting software packages
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management capabilities
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Professional attitude with a positive approach to teamwork and client service
