An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially driven Technical Sales Representative to join a leading business within the Building Services sector.
Covering the Connacht region, the successful candidate will work closely with consultants, specifiers, M&E contractors, and specialist merchants to secure specifications and develop project opportunities from design stage through to completion.
This is an ideal role for a motivated sales professional with strong technical understanding and experience within construction or building products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and convert new business opportunities across commercial, industrial, and public sector projects
- Build strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and merchants
- Manage and maintain a strong project pipeline through CRM
- Deliver technical presentations, CPDs, and on-site support
- Interpret drawings and regulations to recommend suitable solutions
- Negotiate and achieve profitable sales growth
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical sales within construction/building products
- Strong commercial and relationship management skills
- Proven track record in sales growth and specification sales
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Full clean driving licence
- CRM and Office 365 experience essential
