The Software Developer will be responsible to design, build, test, and document new and amended software applications or systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable and efficient applications that meet business and user needs.

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment, our client has requested that all candidates are required to hold a current TSPV Security Clearance. The successful candidate will need to undergo an additional security assessment before commencing in the role.

About the role
The Software Developer will be responsible to design, build, test, and document new and amended software applications or systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable and efficient applications that meet business and user needs.
Role Responsibilities
- Create, lead and execute the Design software solution based on user requirements.
- Select appropriate technologies, framework and tools
- Design, develop, and implement software applications based on business requirements
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
- Proven experience in software development
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#)
- Experience with frameworks such as React, Angular, .NET, or Spring
What is on offer
- 12-month contract, with 2 x 12-month extension options.
- Competitive hourly rate.
