Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (1 Year Contract) 

We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support the design, implementation, security, and operations of scalable cloud platforms supporting enterprise and mission-critical systems. This role is ideal for candidates with strong technical interest in cloud infrastructure, automation, and operations, and who are keen to grow within a structured and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Cloud Platform Engineering

• Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure across AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Nutanix environments
• Assist in building scalable, highly available, and secure cloud platforms for enterprise systems
• Participate in infrastructure deployment, configuration, and optimisation activities

Infrastructure as Code & Automation

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, ARM/Bicep, or CloudFormation
• Support automation for provisioning, configuration management, and deployment pipelines
• Assist in scripting and automation to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort

Cloud Security & Compliance

• Support implementation of IAM, encryption, secrets management, and network security configurations
• Assist in applying security baselines, hardening standards, and compliance controls
• Work alongside security teams on vulnerability remediation and audit support activities

Operations & Support

• Configure and support monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and operational issues
• Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and disaster recovery activities

Documentation & Collaboration

• Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks
• Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, delivery teams, and stakeholders on project delivery

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline
• Open to fresh graduates with relevant internships/projects exposure
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering is advantageous
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Nutanix
• Familiarity with scripting or automation tools is preferred
• Strong willingness to learn and work in enterprise environments
