Hospital-employed GI Hospitalist opportunity offering block scheduling, procedural focus, no clinic responsibilities, and the ability to help build a growing inpatient GI service.
A growing regional health system on the Texas Gulf Coast is seeking a BE/BC Gastroenterologist to join a newly developing inpatient GI hospitalist program. This is a rare opportunity to practice 100% inpatient Gastroenterology while maintaining a predictable schedule and strong work-life balance.
Designed for physicians who enjoy consultative and procedural GI without the demands of outpatient practice, this role offers strong support, flexibility, and the chance to help shape a new service line from the ground up.
Practice Highlights
• 100% inpatient Gastroenterology
• No clinic, outpatient follow-up, or inbox management
• Flexible block scheduling: 7 on / 7 off or 14 on / 14 off
• Dedicated inpatient consult and procedure focus
• ERCP welcomed but not required
• APP support and collaborative specialty coverage
• Modern endoscopy support and EPIC EMR
• Opportunity to help build and grow the inpatient GI program
