About the Opportunity
Join ASC at a pivotal moment in Australia's defence history. This role sits within the establishment of Australian Shipbuilder — the joint venture between ASC and BAE Systems that will build Australia's SSN-AUKUS nuclear-powered submarines.
As Desktop Support Analyst, you'll be a key member of the ICT Operations Team, supporting corporate computing devices, Microsoft 365, collaborative platforms, and COTS product evaluation across all ASC sites. You'll provide technical support to all levels of the business, including executives and board directors.

As Desktop Support Analyst, you'll be a key member of the ICT Operations Team, supporting corporate computing devices, Microsoft 365, collaborative platforms, and COTS product evaluation across all ASC sites. You'll provide technical support to all levels of the business, including executives and board directors.
The Role
- Manage corporate devices, Microsoft Office services, and collaborative environments
- Provide technical support across hardware, software, networking, and mobile devices
- Maintain accurate records in the IT work management system including change management
- Develop and maintain IT guidelines, processes, and knowledgebase documentation
- Work both autonomously and as part of the IT support team, reporting to the IT Service Desk Manager
- Experience in a service desk or help desk environment
- Strong understanding of ITIL/ITSM principles
- Proficiency troubleshooting Windows devices, mobile hardware, printers, and peripherals
- Hands-on experience with Azure AD and Microsoft Intune
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Familiarity with remote desktop tools and ticketing systems
- Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science, or equivalent certifications (CompTIA A+, MCITP) — preferred
