A leading manufacturer of automatic entrance systems is expanding and is seeking an experienced Door Engineer to join its growing field service team, covering the Milton Keynes and Luton areas. This is a newly created role offering long-term stability, strong earning potential, and genuine career progression.

The role offers a starting salary of over £40,000, with realistic first-year earnings of around £52,000 OTE, plus premium overtime. Responsibilities of a Door Engineer

Reporting to the Service Manager, you’ll take ownership of the maintenance, servicing, and repair of swing and sliding automatic entrance systems within a local postcode area. You’ll work daily with high-quality equipment manufactured in-house, manage your own workload, complete all required documentation accurately, and attend regular training to keep your technical knowledge up to date. Delivering excellent customer service and contributing positively to the wider team will be key to maintaining the company’s strong reputation.

Requirements

  • EN16005 knowledge or certification

  • Proven hands-on experience with swing and sliding entrance systems

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Background in electrical, welding, or hydraulics work
