Orthopedic Surgery PA – High-Volume Practice | Coeur D'Alene, ID

A regional healthcare organization in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with experience in orthopedics or other surgical specialties to join a high-volume surgical service within a well-supported hospital setting.


Position Highlights:

• Full-time schedule: approximately 150 shifts per year
• Mix of operating room, inpatient rounding, and outpatient clinic responsibilities
• Night call coverage approximately 4 shifts per month with additional support available
• Surgical APP responsibilities include:
  • First assist in surgery
  • Hospital rounding and inpatient care
  • Post-operative follow-up visits
  • New patient evaluations and screening
  • Same-day walk-in orthopedic visits
• Collaborative, team-based surgical environment focused on quality and patient safety
• Strong emphasis on teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care
