Role Overview
Reporting to the Director, Housing Delivery, this senior leadership role will oversee the operational delivery and strategic implementation of a landmark housing program, alongside broader affordable housing initiatives.
The successful candidate will lead complex housing delivery programs, manage key stakeholder relationships, and work closely with developers, builders, consultants, and government representatives to drive housing outcomes. This role requires a commercially minded leader who can balance strategic thinking, governance, and practical project delivery within a high-profile and fast-paced environment.

You are an accomplished leader with significant experience delivering complex property, construction, infrastructure, housing, or development programs. You combine strong commercial acumen with exceptional stakeholder management skills and are comfortable operating across both strategic and operational environments.
You thrive in dynamic settings, enjoy solving complex challenges, and have a proven ability to influence outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups while leading high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of major housing and affordable housing programs
• Drive program outcomes across project delivery, procurement, partnerships, feasibility, and housing supply initiatives
• Identify and progress strategic development and housing opportunities
• Manage program performance, risks, budgets, reporting, and delivery targets
• Provide commercial leadership across development feasibility and delivery strategies
• Build and maintain strong relationships with industry, government, and key stakeholders
• Prepare executive reports, governance papers, briefings, and strategic documentation
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team within a high-performance environment
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Extensive experience in property development, housing delivery, urban renewal, construction, infrastructure, or major project environments
• Strong understanding of development feasibility, procurement, project structuring, and construction delivery
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale, complex programs and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong commercial, strategic, and financial acumen
• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder, partnership, and governance environments
• Exceptional communication skills, including experience preparing executive and governance documentation
• Ability to balance delivery outcomes with governance, risk management, and accountability requirements
• Experience working across government and private sector environments will be highly regarded
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in property, construction, engineering, project management, commerce, or a related discipline are desirable
