Location: San Diego, CA (Monday–Thursday onsite, Friday work from home)

Schedule: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM PST (can be flexible)

Duration: 12-month contract (with potential extension)

Pay Range: $49.50 – $54.50 per hour

Overview

Acts as a liaison between the customer community and the software development team by translating business needs into clearly documented functional, system, and process requirements. This role involves gathering and analyzing requirements from multiple sources to support program delivery and operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary link between stakeholders and technical teams
• Gather requirements through interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, workflow analysis, and use cases
• Analyze and synthesize information to understand business needs
• Translate business requests into application and operational requirements
• Support delivery of multiple programs, including efficiency and customer support initiatives
• Contribute to program coordination and project support activities
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Assist in leading projects or workstreams where required

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in one of the following:
  • Program Management
  • Program Support / Coordination
  • Project Support or Junior PM roles
• Experience working in program or project environments
• Background in regulated industries (e.g., utilities) preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with enterprise systems (e.g., ERP tools) is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
