Digital Designer (Visual & UI)

Focus: High-impact visual storytelling, interactive UI and integrated digital marketing campaigns. This role is for a visually driven designer who blends world-class aesthetic execution with advanced Figma capabilities and a motion-minded approach to capture user attention. The ideal candidate also contributes to bridging the gap between design and technology through prototyping, strong partnerships (with stakeholders and technologists alike) and the strategic integration of AI-driven workflows.

Role Overview
Our client is looking for a high-energy, "digital-first" Designer to join their evolving Marketing team. They  need a hybrid creative who blends sophisticated visual design with technical curiosity and a ready-to-build attitude. Partnering directly with a Sr Designer, you’ll ideate, build and launch complex marketing campaigns and high-performing digital experiences. You are a go-getter who doesn't just wait for a brief; you seek to understand our products and the "why" behind our marketing strategy to build superior visual solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end campaign execution: Partner with a Senior Designer to translate marketing strategies into compelling visual concepts. You will own the execution of these concepts across all digital touchpoints (dynamic web pages, social media, rich media display and email campaigns).
  • Interactive web & UI design: Combine high-fidelity visual design with advanced Figma practices (auto-layout, variables, and responsive grids) to create gorgeous, conversion-driven web pages. You will ensure our design-to-delivery pipeline is sophisticated, scalable, and ready for front-end developers.
  • Motion mindset & storyboarding: Intentionally design with movement in mind. You understand how motion captures attention and drives web engagement. At a baseline, you can confidently storyboard motion concepts to convey layout transitions or campaign ideas. (The tactical ability to build these animations yourself is a strong plus.)
  • Creative ownership & speed: Take the seed of a marketing idea and rapidly turn it into multiple viable, high-fidelity visual concepts without needing heavy creative oversight.
  • Collaborative partnership: Interface directly with Copywriters, Marketing Managers and Front-end Web Developers. You are a proactive and consultative partner who can speak the language of marketing strategy and comfortably articulate your design decisions.
  • AI-driven workflows: Actively experiment with and implement generative AI tools (like Gemini and Adobe Firefly) to accelerate asset creation, moodboarding and automate repetitive production tasks.
  • Brand amplification: Act as a brand steward who isn’t afraid to push boundaries. You use our brand guidelines as a launchpad for innovation, not a creative ceiling.

Skills & Requirements

  • Portfolio excellence (required): A portfolio that proves you are a visual powerhouse. It must showcase high-end UI/web design, slick digital marketing campaigns, polished typography and a clear understanding of digital interaction. (Enterprise-level UI design is a plus.)
  • Figma mastery (required): Expert-level mastery of Figma (components, responsive layouts, auto-layout, prototyping) to ensure seamless dev handoff.
  • Motion storyboarding (required): Proven ability to conceptualize, sketch or storyboard how a static asset or web page should transition, animate or interact to capture attention.
  • Conversion-driven instincts: You understand how layout, visual hierarchy and user flow affect behavior, click-through rates and marketing performance.
  • The "maker" mindset: You thrive in an environment where you are expected to take initiative, independently solve design challenges and bridge the gap between creative concept and technical development.

Preferred, bonus skills

  • Enterprise-level UI design (understand and appreciate large, complex design systems)
  • Tactical experience building campaign animations in Adobe After Effects
  • Experience building or exporting web-optimized, motion-based interactions (eg. Lottie/JSON workflows)
