With over 13 offices and 900+ staff all over Australia, our client is a well-known financial service which specializes in targeted planning, implementation, and support services to corporate software. To help continue the company’s growth, our client is looking for an experienced finance manager to join their finance team.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to handle large volume of data, have strong analytical skills, be a self-starter, be willing to roll up their sleeves when tackling diverse data, drive insights, and take on other operational initiatives.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As the finance manager, you will be directly responsible to the CEO and have the following duties:
- Prepare and responsible for monthly group consolidated financial statements
- Supervise financial reporting and operations, cash flow analysis and balance sheet management
- Handling Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
- Facilitating and processing the full spectrum of payroll function and benefit claims monthly
- Preparing of monthly Balance Sheet Schedules and Bank Reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly financial reports in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with the Company's requirements reporting directly to the CEO
- Compiling regular GST returns, financial statements, and taxation returns
- Supporting and recruiting finance assistants
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
ABOUT YOU
- 5+ years of experience in a simila`
- Strong proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting
- Fully chartered accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Ability to develop and implement effective fiscal/accounting policies and financial controls
- Strong record in a management role
- A positive working attitude including willingness to work longer hours during peak periods
