Job Summary
Are you someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying active, and working with wood? We're seeking a lumber yard worker to join our team in portage, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of operations, measuring, cutting and hauling lumber.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Lumber Yard worker, your core responsibilities will include:
• Measuring Lumber
• Cutting/using cutting tools
• Hauling Lumber
• Banding Lumber
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
• Prior experience working in a lumber yard
• Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks
• Ability to use a tape measure
Skills:
• Attention to detail to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Flexibility to assist in multiple areas as production needs change
• Team player with strong communication skills
