Integration Test Lead

We are looking for an experienced Integration Test Lead to join a large program of work, responsible for driving integration testing activities and managing defects across multiple systems, vendors, and internal delivery teams.
This role will play a key part in ensuring integration quality and release readiness. You will provide governance across the integration testing lifecycle, coordinate cross-system testing, and ensure clear visibility of testing outcomes and defect status across stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading end-to-end integration testing, including defining strategy, planning test phases, and coordinating cross-system test execution
• Ensuring environments, data, and system interfaces are aligned to support successful integration testing
• Providing governance across integration testing activities and ensuring adherence to testing processes and standards
• Managing the end-to-end defect lifecycle, including triage, prioritisation, tracking, and resolution across vendors and internal teams
• Chairing defect triage forums and driving accountability for timely resolution
• Delivering clear reporting on integration coverage, test outcomes, defect trends, and release readiness
• Conducting root cause analysis on critical or recurring defects and driving improvements to testing and delivery processes
• Contributing hands-on to integration test execution during the integration test cycle

Initial focus of the role

During the first four months, the role will focus heavily on managing defects across the program. This includes coordinating with vendors and delivery teams to ensure defects are triaged, tracked, and progressed, while providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
In parallel, you will support integration test governance by establishing testing processes, overseeing test planning, and ensuring standards are followed across the integration testing cycle.

Nice to have

• Experience with MuleSoft or similar integration platforms
• Experience with Postman for API testing
• Experience using SOAP UI
• Experience working with Jira for defect and test management
• Experience extracting test data from ValueEdge and integrating it with Jira
