- Two Day Physician
- 12 hours shifts
- 7 days a week (7a-7P/7p-7a).
- In addition we have a third provider who works 8 hours Mon-Fri (7a-3p).
- On the weekend there are only two providers (usually the weekend is slower).
- We have one nocturnist who works 7p-7a.
- Admission during the day average around 6-8.
- The night admissions average around 5-6.
- The nocturnist also takes call for all patients on our service should concerns arise.
- Nocturnist takes call for psych admissions but there are not that many.
- EMR: Meditech system.
- Specialists: Cardiology, Interventional cardiology, Cardiac thoracic surgeon, (Do not have at this time are Pulmonology, Intensivist, GI).
- Procedures required: vent management, central lines.
