Overview

Client is seeking a Software/Algorithm Engineer to support advanced sensor fusion, perception, and autonomy work for fighter and unmanned platforms. This role will contribute to current and next-generation sensor fusion capabilities, helping turn Client sensor concepts into operational, flight-ready software.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and support sensor fusion algorithms for aircraft-based fusion and autonomous decision-making.
  • Contribute to software requirements, algorithm design, mode development, design reviews, and testing.
  • Write high-quality embedded C sensor fusion software deployed across multiple platforms and real-time operating systems.
  • Stage algorithms in high-fidelity simulation environments for feasibility studies and operational analysis.
  • Support integration of new technologies, sensors, and capabilities into advanced aeronautics programs.
  • Coordinate with other fusion sub-disciplines to integrate algorithms across core fusion domains.
  • Define pathways for incorporation into a reusable, next-generation, multi-platform Fusion Engine.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies

  • 5 years of experience in sensor fusion sub-domains such as state estimation, identification, correlation, or sensor tasking.
  • Strong experience across signal processing, artificial intelligence, autonomy/perception, navigation, or control systems in a sensor/systems application.
  • 5 years of experience with algorithms used in development of sensor modes for RF and/or IR-based sensor systems.
  • 5 years of Visual Studio development experience.
  • 10 years of experience with Real-Time Operating Systems development using C, C , or Rust.
  • Experience with Windows and/or Linux environments.
  • High-fidelity prototyping or simulation experience using MATLAB or Python.
  • Demonstrated success working in an Agile environment.
  • Active Secret clearance with an investigation in the last 5 years or CE enrollment.
  • Special Access required to start.
