Our client is looking for a skilled Tool & Die Maintenance Technician to support stamping operations by maintaining, repairing, and improving tooling. This is a direct hire position, meaning you’ll be a permanent employee from the start—not a contract or temp role.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on stamping dies

• Support progressive, transfer, and blanking die operations

• Diagnose tooling issues and execute timely repairs to reduce downtime

• Conduct preventive maintenance, sharpening, and adjustments

• Read and interpret tooling prints, schematics, and GD&T drawings

• Document repairs, modifications, and improvements

• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve tooling performance

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tool and die experience in a stamping environment

• Strong knowledge of progressive dies and tooling systems

• Experience with die repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting

• Proficiency with micrometers, indicators, and precision measuring tools

• Experience with surface grinders and CNC/manual machining preferred

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and prints

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
