Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team, delivering high-quality electrical building services design across a diverse portfolio of projects.

This role is suited to a technically strong professional who takes ownership of projects, enjoys leading others, and is confident engaging directly with clients and project stakeholders.

You will join a collaborative and multidisciplinary engineering environment where technical excellence, clear communication, and well-considered, practical design solutions are fundamental to our approach.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of electrical building services projects from concept through to construction.
• Prepare, review, and approve detailed electrical designs, drawings, reports, and technical documentation.
• Develop and coordinate schematics, layouts, and specifications using Revit and associated design tools.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant Australian Standards, codes, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with mechanical, hydraulic, structural, and architectural disciplines.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior engineers and drafting staff.
• Act as a key technical contact in client and project meetings.
• Provide construction phase support, including responding to RFIs and design clarifications.
• Contribute to project planning, design reviews, and overall delivery strategy.

Project Exposure Commercial developments, residential buildings, aged care facilities, education projects, and industrial developments.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience in electrical building services design.
• Proven ability to deliver projects independently from concept through to completion.
• Strong proficiency in Revit and related engineering design software.
• Sound knowledge of Australian Standards and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Practical, solution-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and support junior team members.
