Seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial processing equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. This is a direct hire role offering both 1st and 2nd shift with starting payrate of $40.92/hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and other mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, steam, piping, and valve systems
- Perform welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment modifications from blueprints
- Complete basic electrical repairs and maintenance (up to 120VAC single phase)
- Operate shop tools, rigging equipment, and lifting devices safely
- Troubleshoot and maintain high-speed production equipment, including centrifuges, separators, mills, airlocks, and blowers
- Inspect, repair, rebuild, and replace mechanical components as needed
- Follow all safety procedures, plant policies, and operational standards
- Participate in required technical training to maintain and improve maintenance skills
- Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Journeyman-level experience (or equivalent) in maintenance mechanic, millwright, machine repair, pipefitting/plumbing, machinist, or related skilled trade
- Minimum 3 years of relevant journeyman-level experience in an industrial or processing environment
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with welding, fabrication, and industrial maintenance systems preferred
