WA Cricket, in partnership wth ACA and Infront Sports, is offering an Assistant Coach - Pathways opportunity to a current, transitioning, or past professional cricketer, who is an ACA Member.
Key responsibilities include:
- Training Support: Assist the head coach with session setup, drill implementation, and technical skill guidance.

Player Development: Assess player performance to create and deliver individual improvement plans and feedback.

Technical Specialisation: Deliver targeted coaching in areas such as batting, bowling, fielding, or wicketkeeping.

Drill Design: Prepare and execute drills designed to enhance both individual and team skill sets.

Performance Monitoring: Track athlete progress and provide data-driven insights to the coaching staff.

Reviews: Support and participate in player performance review meetings.

Planning: Attend regular coaching meetings to coordinate training schedules and development goals.

Reporting: Assist in the preparation of reports regarding player progress and match-day performance.

Opportunities are offered by state cricket clubs, ACA, and Cricket Australia via Infront and the ACA Internship Program early in each calendar year.
