The Role
- Associate to Senior Associate level corporate role
- Advising on mergers and acquisitions and broader corporate transactions
- Working closely with experienced partners on complex deals
- Exposure to private and mid market transactions
- Drafting and negotiating transaction documents
- Managing matters with increasing autonomy as experience grows
- Replacing an existing role with a full time, sustainable workload
- Realistic billable expectations compared to large firm environments
The Candidate
- Admitted lawyer with 2+ years post admission experience
- Background in corporate law with M&A exposure
- Experience from a quality commercial environment
- Strong drafting, analytical and commercial skills
- Able to manage transactions efficiently and pragmatically
- Demonstrated stability in career history
- Looking for a long term role rather than frequent short moves
- Confident communicator who works well in a close knit team
