Senior Accountant

A growing global technology organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. About the Role

Reporting to senior finance leadership, the Senior Accountant will support financial reporting, month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and operational accounting processes across multiple business units. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting while contributing to process improvements, system enhancements, and finance transformation initiatives.

What You’ll Do

• Support month-end and quarter-end close processes, including the preparation and review of financial reporting deliverables
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure accurate financial records
• Assist with the review and consolidation of financial information from multiple business units
• Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions across various entities
• Collaborate with finance teams to improve reporting quality, operational efficiency, and financial processes
• Support technical accounting matters and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards
• Participate in finance transformation initiatives, including process automation and system optimization projects
• Assist with financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making
• Contribute to special projects, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives as required

What You Bring

• CPA designation is preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting, industry, or a combination of both
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and corporate financial reporting principles
• Experience with multi-entity accounting, consolidations, and intercompany transactions
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
• Experience working within technology, software, SaaS, or other fast-growing organizations is considered an asset
• Exposure to ERP systems and financial reporting platforms is considered an asset
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Additional language skills, particularly Spanish or Portuguese, are considered an asset
