Job Title: Technical Sales Manager – Bearings & Transmission Products
Location: Midlands-based – Field-Based Role
Salary: €45k - €60k depending on experience + car or mileage allowance
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Hours: 39 hours/week, Monday to Friday
Holidays: 20 days annual leave

Their customer base includes some of the most respected names in the Irish medical device and pharmaceutical sectors.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Technical Sales Manager to join the team. Based ideally in the Midlands, you’ll play a key role in managing and growing client relationships across Ireland’s automation, medical device, and pharmaceutical agricultural manufacturing sectors inc OEM dealers.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of industrial customers, with a strong focus on medical device, pharma and agricultural manufacturers
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target sectors
• Provide technical product guidance on bearings, linear motion, and transmission solutions
• Conduct client site visits, consultations, and product demonstrations
• Work closely with our internal support team to ensure timely and accurate order processing
• Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and customer needs
Requirements
• Proven experience in engineering sales, ideally within bearings, motion control, or industrial automation products
• Track record of selling into Irish manufacturing clients, particularly in the medical device/pharma and agricultural sectors
• Strong technical acumen and the ability to understand and recommend mechanical solutions
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Full clean driving licence – company car or mileage allowance provided
Preferred Qualifications
• Mechanical or industrial engineering qualification
• Knowledge of robotic manufacturing systems or motion control products
• Familiarity with CRM systems and digital tools for sales tracking
