Technical Sales Engineer – Ground Improvement

Our client is looking to bring on a Technical Sales Engineer with a solid background in geotechnical construction and a knack for developing client relationships. If you're technically minded but commercially sharp, this one’s worth a look.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Review and interpret civil, structural, and geotechnical construction documents

• Prepare estimates and proposals for ground support solutions

• Perform pre-bid geotechnical and structural design calculations using in-house or commercial software

• Liaise with clients, engineers, and architects to advance sales opportunities

• Negotiate contract terms and close sales where designated as the sales lead

• Deliver technical presentations and support client education and training

• Collaborate regularly with sales and engineering teams

• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and marketing events

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships

What You’ll Need

• A solid grasp of engineering principles, design tools, and technical drawings

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent organisational and time management abilities

• A collaborative mindset with the ability to manage multiple deadlines

• A Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or similar

• At least 5 years of geotechnical construction experience
