Senior Estimator - Strata/Refurbishment

We are partnering with a well-established Queensland construction group to recruit an experienced Estimator to join their growing team. This position offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of commercial refurbishment, insurance, strata, and upgrade projects throughout Brisbane and Southeast
Queensland.

The Opportunity Working closely alongside Project Managers and delivery teams, you will play a key role in preparing scopes, pricing works, and supporting project delivery across projects generally ranging from $50K to $2M.

Project types include:

• Commercial refurbishments
• Strata remediation and capital works
• Insurance reinstatement projects
• Maintenance and upgrade works

Key Responsibilities

• Review project documentation, scopes, and drawings
• Attend site inspections and assess project requirements
• Prepare detailed scopes of work and accurate cost estimates
• Complete take-offs and pricing submissions
• Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Prepare quotations and tender submissions
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Support Project Managers with project costing and scope development

About You
We are seeking someone with strong estimating capability and practical construction knowledge who enjoys working across diverse projects and collaborating closely with operational teams.
Ideally, you will have:

• Experience estimating within commercial construction, refurbishments, fit-out, insurance, or remedial works
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and building scopes
• Ability to interpret drawings and complete take-offs accurately
• Experience preparing tenders, quotations, and pricing submissions
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously
• Trade qualifications or construction-related qualifications highly regarded
