Responsibilities and Duties
As a Senior Regulatory Compliance Executive, you will be responsible for:
- Owning and executing the Compliance Monitoring Programme (CMP) for assigned licensed entities
- Assessing regulatory change, conducting gap analyses, and advising on business impact
- Preparing board-level compliance reports, risk assessments, and regulatory updates
- Managing regulatory submissions, statutory filings, and ongoing reporting obligations
- Acting as a key contact during regulatory inspections, audits, and examinations
- Drafting, maintaining, and enhancing compliance policies and frameworks
- Providing practical regulatory guidance to internal stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities to improve compliance processes through automation and smarter controls
Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- At least 7 years’ experience in regulatory compliance or compliance monitoring
- Proven experience independently running compliance monitoring programmes
- Strong knowledge of investment business regulation; exposure to derivatives, CFDs, or virtual assets is advantageous
- Familiarity with offshore regulatory authorities (or the ability to learn frameworks quickly)
- Excellent written communication skills, with experience producing regulator- and board-ready documentation
- Analytical mindset with the confidence to make informed compliance judgements
- Degree in law, finance, compliance, or a related discipline
- Professional certifications such as ICA or ACAMS
