You’ll love working at this scaling SaaS client with a development hub in Cork. They are building a complex, multi-tenant SaaS platform, and are looking for a Senior/Lead Frontend Software Engineer (Angular) who wants to work on real product challenges — not just polish UI tickets.
This is a product engineering role. You’ll work on workflow-heavy, operationally critical parts of the system where clarity, correctness, and reliability truly matter. You’ll collaborate closely with backend engineers, product, and QA to design interfaces that hold up in production and make complex financial workflows feel clear and trustworthy.
What you’ll do
- Build production-grade frontend software using Angular and TypeScript
- Design and implement robust UIs that handle complex state, async behaviour, permissions, validation, edge cases, and failure modes
- Shape solutions with product and backend — not just implement predefined screens
- Turn complex, financially sensitive workflows into usable, reliable product experiences
- Contribute to frontend architecture, standards, and reusable components
- Write automated tests and help improve release confidence and regression safety
- Pay attention to performance, responsiveness, and operational quality in the browser
- Help shape AI-assisted user experiences that combine natural language interaction with deterministic, trustworthy product behaviour
What we’re looking for
- Strong commercial experience with TypeScript and Angular in production
- Solid frontend engineering fundamentals: component design, SPA architecture, state management
- Product-minded judgement — able to balance UX, correctness, delivery speed, and technical quality
- A production mindset: comfortable with edge cases, failures, and operational complexity
- Calm, mature collaborator who takes ownership and raises the quality bar around them
Nice to have
- Experience with Playwright or other end-to-end testing tools
- Background in SaaS products with complex workflows
- Experience in financial, operational, or compliance-sensitive domains
- Exposure to AI-assisted workflows or intelligent automation in products
