An opportunity exists for an experienced Engineering Manager to play a pivotal role in the progression of a large-scale resources project, currently in Pre‑Feasibility Study (PFS) and tracking toward execution.
This is a senior leadership role with genuine influence over project outcomes, offering exposure to a complex, multidisciplinary development on a project around $500 million. This is an initial contract engagement.

The Role
Reporting into senior project leadership, you will be responsible for leading all engineering activities through PFS and into subsequent phases, ensuring technical excellence, cost discipline, and schedule alignment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams (process, mechanical, civil, electrical & SMP)
- Managing engineering deliverables through PFS with a strong focus on scope definition, cost and risk
- Ensuring engineering solutions are safe, practical, constructable and aligned with project objectives
- Providing technical input into project economics, execution strategy and approvals
- Supporting the transition from study phase into detailed design and execution readiness
You will be a technically strong and commercially aware engineering leader with experience on major resources or minerals projects.
Key requirements:
- Degree qualified in Engineering (Mechanical, Process, Electrical or similar)
- Demonstrated experience as an Engineering Manager on an EPCM large capital projects
- Strong background in feasibility studies and project development environments
- Strong experience withing engineering consultancies and mineral processing projects.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership capability
