About the role
We’re seeking an experienced Payroll Systems Consultant to join our client, a leading Australian Payroll and HR solutions company in a client-facing consulting role, delivering people and payroll solutions across a diverse client base.
Based in Milton, Brisbane, you’ll work closely with clients and internal product/customer journey teams to run implementation workshops, document and validate requirements, configure and test solutions, and provide expert guidance on payroll practices, data transformation and integration.

About the role
We’re seeking an experienced Payroll Systems Consultant to join our client, a leading Australian Payroll and HR solutions company in a client-facing consulting role, delivering people and payroll solutions across a diverse client base.
Based in Milton, Brisbane, you’ll work closely with clients and internal product/customer journey teams to run implementation workshops, document and validate requirements, configure and test solutions, and provide expert guidance on payroll practices, data transformation and integration.
Required skills
- Strong, hands-on experience delivering people/payroll solutions in a consulting or implementation capacity
- Proven ability to facilitate workshops / implementation sessions and deliver procedural training to end users
- Experience in customer-facing roles, engaging from discovery through to implementation, rollout, and change impact assessment
- Experience documenting requirements and translating them into configured system outcomes
- Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working in client-facing environments
- Ability to manage multiple clients/projects, prioritise work, and set/maintain expectations
- Experience with Aurion payroll is highly regarded
- Demonstrated knowledge of Australian payroll legislation (end-to-end payroll concepts and compliance)
- Experience with Awards / Union Agreements / EBAs
