We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our Parks & Recreation team on a casual basis. This role assists with the maintenance and presentation of parks, gardens, sports fields, playgrounds, and public open spaces across the council area.

Duties include
  • Mowing, whipper snipping, edging, and general grounds maintenance
  • Garden and landscape maintenance
  • Litter collection and cleaning of public areas
  • Operating small plant and equipment
  • Assisting with sports field and playground upkeep
  • Tree watering and basic horticultural tasks
  • Following WHS and council safety procedures
Essential requirements
  • Current NSW Driver Licence
  • White Card
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable and physically fit
  • Recent RMS Driving History
  • Recent Police Check
Desirable
  • Experience in parks, landscaping, horticulture, or civil works
  • Chainsaw, brush cutter, or chemical handling tickets
  • MR licence
  • First Aid certificate
