We are seeking a People & Culture Advisor to join a collaborative HR team and support the delivery of consistent, high-quality HR services across multiple sites. Working closely with the Employee Relations Manager and operational leaders, you will play a key role in providing practical HR advice, supporting employee relations matters, and contributing to a range of People & Culture initiatives and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR and employee relations advice across performance, conduct, and policy matters
- Manage employee relations cases of moderate complexity, escalating high-risk issues where required
- Support managers through performance management processes including documentation and coaching
- Partner with leaders across recruitment, selection, onboarding, and workforce planning activities
- Contribute to People & Culture projects, policy updates, and organisational change initiatives
- Use workforce data and insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement
- Identify and escalate emerging workforce risks, engagement issues, and retention concerns
- Ensure HR systems and records are maintained accurately and consistently
About You
To be successful, you will bring:
- Tertiary qualification in HR, Employment Relations, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in an HR Advisor or generalist HR role
- Strong experience in employee relations, including performance management, conduct, and policy interpretation
- Exposure to recruitment, selection, and onboarding support
- Experience contributing to HR projects, initiatives, or organisational change activities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- High level of discretion, confidentiality, and sound judgement
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Confidence using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications
