About the Role

We are seeking a People & Culture Advisor to join a collaborative HR team and support the delivery of consistent, high-quality HR services across multiple sites. Working closely with the Employee Relations Manager and operational leaders, you will play a key role in providing practical HR advice, supporting employee relations matters, and contributing to a range of People & Culture initiatives and projects.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day HR and employee relations advice across performance, conduct, and policy matters
  • Manage employee relations cases of moderate complexity, escalating high-risk issues where required
  • Support managers through performance management processes including documentation and coaching
  • Partner with leaders across recruitment, selection, onboarding, and workforce planning activities
  • Contribute to People & Culture projects, policy updates, and organisational change initiatives
  • Use workforce data and insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Identify and escalate emerging workforce risks, engagement issues, and retention concerns
  • Ensure HR systems and records are maintained accurately and consistently


About You

To be successful, you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in HR, Employment Relations, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in an HR Advisor or generalist HR role
  • Strong experience in employee relations, including performance management, conduct, and policy interpretation
  • Exposure to recruitment, selection, and onboarding support
  • Experience contributing to HR projects, initiatives, or organisational change activities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High level of discretion, confidentiality, and sound judgement
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Confidence using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications
