Our client is seeking an organised and motivated Draftsperson to join our growing team. This role offers excellent exposure to residential building projects, Development Applications (DA), construction documentation, and project coordination, making it ideal for someone looking to build a strong career in the building industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare building, structural, and civil drawings using AutoCAD
  • Conduct site inspections and measure existing buildings
  • Prepare and lodge Development Applications (DA)
  • Prepare Statements of Environmental Effects, Waste Management Plans, CDCs, and CC documentation
  • Coordinate with consultants including surveyors, engineers, bushfire consultants, heritage consultants, and arborists
  • Produce detailed construction documentation and building details
Skills & Experience
  • Relevant Degree, Diploma, or TAFE qualification
  • AutoCAD proficiency
  • Knowledge of the NSW residential building industry and NCC/BCA is desirable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
