An exciting opportunity is available for an Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrar to join a major regional teaching hospital in Victoria, Australia. This fixed-term position offers broad clinical and procedural exposure within a large and supportive Women's Health service, making it ideal for doctors pursuing a career in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and preparing for specialist training pathways.

The role provides excellent consultant supervision, hands-on procedural experience, and exposure to both high-risk obstetrics and complex gynaecology within a modern regional referral centre.

Position Details

6 month full time post starting July or August 2026 

The Role
This registrar position offers comprehensive experience across Obstetrics and Gynaecology, including:

• High-risk obstetrics
• General gynaecology inpatient and outpatient care
• Operative and procedural gynaecology
• Emergency gynaecology surgery
• Colposcopy services
• Participation in after-hours and weekend rosters

The successful applicant will work within small consultant-led teams with strong clinical supervision while progressively developing independent clinical decision-making skills.

Training & Career Development
The position is designed to support progression toward the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists training pathway and may potentially be recognised as an accredited training position.
