*** is seeking a highly motivated Scientist to join the Analytical Development group within the Genomic Medicine Unit BioAnalytics, which develops, validates, and transfers analytical methods used for characterization and release of viral and non-viral therapeutics to support clinical development of new medicines. The successful candidate will participate in the development and validation of PCR based assays and other analytical techniques routinely used to support gene therapy development. A strong background in qPCR and dPCR/ddPCR is desired, with a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in an industry setting performing and developing molecular biology assays. Cell culture and bioassay experience is also a benefit. This role operates within a cGMP environment and requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional departments.
