Pay rate is *** Work schedule is Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm, with the potential overtime/holiday hours, however, there will be shift changes in the future.
RESPONSIBILITIESPrimarily perform manual visual inspection of the final product. Involves individually manipulating each unit and checking for flaws/nonconformities as outlined by the procedure and criteria. Operate basic equipment and carry out routine tasks. Involves following strict, detailed instructions. Carry out operational tasks by following established processes. Involves working within given settings or parameters. This may include finished product sampling, labeling and final packaging. Help to install equipment and appliances by carrying out preparations and providing assistance while following strict, detailed instructions. Help to maintain and repair equipment and appliances by carrying out preparations and providing assistance while following strict, detailed instructions. Support the quality function by working within strict quality standards. Follow basic mandatory work instructions (including use of personal protection equipment where relevant) to safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of oneself and others.REQUIREMENTSBachelors degree preferred. Documentation of 20/20 near visual acuity or better (i.e. 20/14). No color blindness. Note: near visual acuity cannot be substituted with far visual acuity. Physically able to sit or stand for long periods of time, mentally focus on task, and perform repetitive motions with short breaks. Able to use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriate for the type of hazard and exposure potential, including the use of respiratory protection. Able to record detailed numerical data legibly and use elementary level math to add and subtract with minimal supervision. Uses clear and effective elementary verbal communications skills under supervision to express ideas, request actions and formulate plans or policies. Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to develop, monitor, interpret and understand policies and procedures, while making sure they match organizational strategies and objectives. Identifies, assesses, prioritizes and manages risks in a production process at an elementary level, under supervision. Works under supervision at an elementary level to motivate all employees to learn, grow and develop so that they can obtain the knowledge and experience they need to help the organization reach its goals. Works under supervision at an elementary level to achieve full compliance with applicable rules and regulations in management and/or operations.
