About the Role
Our highly respected NFP client in the education sector, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Advisor to support the delivery of effective HR operations across the full employee lifecycle. This permanent role is responsible for providing high-quality HR administration, recruitment support, payroll coordination, compliance monitoring, while contributing to a positive and collaborative workplace culture.

About the Role
Our highly respected NFP client in the education sector, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Advisor to support the delivery of effective HR operations across the full employee lifecycle. This permanent role is responsible for providing high-quality HR administration, recruitment support, payroll coordination, compliance monitoring, while contributing to a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
Reporting to a highly supportive National People & Culture Manager, you will be part of a wider HR team Responsibilities include, but not limited:
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, contract preparation, inductions, position changes, and offboarding.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems, payroll data, and compliance registers, including Working with Children Checks.
- Support recruitment activities such as drafting position descriptions, screening applications, coordinating interviews, and onboarding new employees.
- Assist with payroll administration, reporting, and processing changes in line with organisational requirements.
- Respond to HR and payroll enquiries, manage shared HR inboxes, and escalate complex matters where required.
- Prepare regular HR reports and contribute to data integrity, compliance, and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders on HR projects, and employee engagement initiatives
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Advisor-level role
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and regulations, including multiple Modern Awards, NES, Fair Work, and WHS requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
- Self-motivated and able to manage competing priorities, solve problems proactively, and meet operational demands independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders
- Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, discretion, and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a responsive environment
- A valid Working with Children Card is an essential condition of employment
- Experience in the Education industry is highly regarded. NFP experience, particularly working with Youth is also highly valuable
