WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
- Ensures production, inventory, supply chain, and financial operations run accurately and without disruption.
- Supports manufacturing execution through strong configuration of BOMs, work orders, MRP, and shop floor processes.
- Drives data integrity and system reliability across interconnected platforms.
- Enables leadership visibility through reporting, dashboards, and operational analytics.
- Protects operational continuity by managing upgrades, patches, testing, and system governance.
- Acts as a trusted technical partner to business leaders across operations and corporate functions.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of ERP administration, systems analyst, or similar experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud ERP platform (NetSuite, Oracle Cloud ERP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP S/4HANA Cloud, or Infor CloudSuite).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, inventory, and supply chain modules including BOM, MRP, work orders, and shop floor execution.
- Experience configuring workflows, custom fields/forms, permissions, and role-based security.
- Familiarity with ERP integrations across platforms such as CRM, PLM, CAD, WMS, and BI tools.
- Working knowledge of SQL, scripting, or reporting/analytics platforms.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Clear communicator capable of partnering with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
PREFERRED BACKGROUND
- ERP platform certifications (NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL, ISO, or structured governance frameworks.
- Experience supporting multi-site or global manufacturing operations.
- Background in discrete or process manufacturing.
