We are seeking an experienced Program Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale Retail Transformation program at AGL. This role is pivotal in driving a customer-centric, digital and streamlined business through modern technology and best-practice ways of working. This is a 12 month contract role, based in Melbourne CBD in a hybrid working environment.
You will oversee complex program delivery across business and technology, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure alignment to strategic objectives, delivering impactful outcomes through a hybrid of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the delivery of large, complex transformation programs end-to-end
• Manage and inspire multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment
• Drive outcomes using a hybrid Agile + Waterfall delivery approach
• Partner with executive stakeholders, vendors, and business leaders
• Oversee program governance, financials, risks, and performance metrics
• Ensure delivery is aligned to strategic objectives, timelines, and budget
• Champion continuous improvement and innovative ways of working
About You
• Must have proven experience in leadership roles within complex environments (energy or similar industry preferred)
• Proven track record delivering large-scale transformation programs end-to-end
• Experience managing programs >$300M and teams of 300+ resources
• Strong experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across multiple vendors
• Demonstrated success working in hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments
• Exceptional stakeholder management, including executive-level engagement
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capability
• Deep understanding of project and program management disciplines (scope, cost, time, quality, risk, procurement)
• Strong commercial acumen with a results-driven mindset
