We’re partnering with a highly regarded surveying specialist that plays a key role in delivering complex urban infrastructure projects. They are known for their technical excellence, strong project partnerships, and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality outcomes across every stage of construction.

 

This is a senior leadership role overseeing surveying operations across multiple metro civil projects. You’ll be responsible for leading survey teams, ensuring technical accuracy, and supporting successful project delivery in fast-paced urban environments.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage survey teams across multiple metro civil infrastructure projects
  • Oversee all construction surveying activities, including set-out, as-built, and verification works
  • Ensure accuracy, data integrity, and compliance with project and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement survey methodologies, workflows, and QA/QC processes
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams
  • Manage survey resources, including personnel, equipment, and subcontractors
  • Review and approve survey data, reports, and deliverables
  • Maintain and optimise use of modern survey technologies and equipment
  • Mentor and develop junior surveyors and technical staff
  • Identify and manage survey-related risks across projects

 

About You
  • Proven experience in a Survey Manager or Senior Surveyor role within civil infrastructure
  • Strong background in metro or urban infrastructure projects (roads, rail, utilities, etc.)
  • Proficient with modern survey equipment (Total Stations, GNSS, laser scanning, UAVs)
  • Strong working knowledge of survey software (e.g. 12d, Civil 3D)
  • Solid understanding of construction methodologies and engineering principles
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capability
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
  • Relevant qualification in Surveying or Geospatial Science
  • Professional registration or eligibility is highly regarded
