Apply directWe’re looking for experienced Subdivision Excavator Operators to join a leading Queensland civil contractor specialising in subdivisions, bulk earthworks, and road construction.
This is a great opportunity for operators with strong trenching and drainage experience who want consistent, long-term work with real career growth.

- Temp-to-perm opportunity with pay reviews at 3 and 6 months
- Career progression into machine or leading hand roles
- Operating excavators for trenching, bulk earthworks, batter work, road boxing, pit & pipe, conduits, and site clean-up
- Working with 15T–50T machines across a variety of civil projects
- Supporting site crews and trades as required
- Typical hours: 6am–5pm, 5–6 days per week
- Proven experience as a Subdivision Excavator Operator
- White Card and reliable licence and transport (some sites remote)
- Experience digging around live services and working in tight areas
- Ability to follow site plans, communicate well, and work safely in a team
This is a TEMP TO PERM opportunity (reviewed at 3 and 6 months), increasing pay rates once set milestones are achieved. This is an ongoing position where you will be working 10 hour days, 5/6 days per week.
