About the Position
This permanent, full-time position will commence in Term 3, or earlier if available. The role involves providing classroom cover across a variety of year levels and subject areas, stepping in when staff are on leave or engaged in planning and release time. The school is looking for a flexible and positive educator who is confident stepping into different classes and ready to support teaching and learning wherever needed.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects and year levels using prepared plans or adapting when necessary

• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and productive classroom environment in the absence of the regular teacher

• Communicate effectively with students and staff to maintain learning continuity

• Support the school’s culture of care, respect, and student wellbeing

• Work collaboratively with staff to meet short-term coverage needs with professionalism and initiative

Requirements

• Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain QLD Teacher Registration (QCT)

• Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role

• Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
